FieldSafe Medical is a trading name of Russell Maher, sole trader, of Lytchett House, 13 Freeland Park, Wareham Road, Poole, Dorset, BH16 6FA. FieldSafe Medical is the data controller for the website and enquiry information described here.

What this notice covers
This notice applies to the FieldSafe Medical marketing website and to enquiries, quotations and training bookings arranged through it. The FieldSafe SOS application processes more sensitive personal information and requires its own product-specific notice, DPIA and final legal review before public launch.
What the website collects
The enquiry form may collect your name, organisation or venue, email address, telephone number, the service you are interested in and information you choose to provide about your setting and training requirements.
This marketing website does not intentionally use advertising or behavioural-tracking cookies.
Please do not send health information about other people
Describe the situations you want your team prepared for, not the medical details of identifiable guests, participants or staff. If confidential information about an identifiable person is sent through the enquiry form, FieldSafe will minimise or delete it where appropriate and will not use it for marketing.
Why the information is used
Information is used to respond to your enquiry, recommend an appropriate service, prepare a quotation, arrange delivery, issue certificates where applicable and maintain necessary business, accounting and training records. Depending on the circumstances, the lawful basis may include steps taken at your request before entering a contract, performance of a contract, legal obligations and legitimate interests in running and protecting the business.
Marketing emails are not sent merely because you make an enquiry. Any future mailing list will use a separate opt-in process.
Who else may see it
Your information is not sold and is not shared for somebody else’s marketing. It may be processed by service providers needed to run the business, such as website/email hosting, accounting or invoicing services, professional advisers and public authorities where disclosure is legally required.
Where a provider stores information outside the UK, FieldSafe will use the transfer safeguards required by UK data-protection law.
How long it is kept
- Enquiries that do not lead to a booking: normally up to 12 months from the last contact.
- Bookings and delivered training: normally up to 6 years from the end of the relevant financial year where records are needed for accounting, tax, contractual or evidential purposes.
- Certificate records: may be kept for the same period so a certificate can be verified or reissued.
- Technical anti-spam or security logs: only for as long as reasonably necessary for security and abuse prevention.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, UK data-protection law may give you rights to access your information, correct inaccuracies, request deletion or restriction, object to certain processing and receive certain information in a portable format.
To exercise a right, email training@fieldsafemedical.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office if you are unhappy with how your information has been handled.
FieldSafe SOS
Do not treat this marketing-site notice as the final SOS privacy notice. The RC3 engineering package includes a working DPIA draft and product privacy draft, but these still require final professional review and publication before public checkout is enabled.
